Rockdale School is a product of many years of cognitive ideas generated along academic and vocational experiences that span many continents, with special focus on the educational systems in Nigeria, United Kingdom, and the United States of America. The school is designed to contribute her quota towards conquering the menace and decay in the Nigerian educational system particularly at the foundational levels. The vision is rooted in the fact that sound educational system is essential to the development of every nation. We are also keenly aware that no half measures ever take any nation to the pinnacle of development. The school was registered and approved by the Lagos State Government on July 14th, 2020 with Reg. No. MOE/PESP/SREG/NSP/20/035896 and became operational on September 21st, 2020.

Events & Programs

Standards

The school provides uniforms for the pupils and they are under compulsory to come to school neatly dressed in clean uniform, white socks and black shoes or P.E Uniforms with white socks in white canvas. The girls are under obligation to keep their hair well and neatly braided or plaited. However, hair extensions of any sort are not permitted.

Our Philosophy

Rockdale School is a multi-cultural, non-denominational/religious school. Our credo is solemn belief in the basic dignity of human being. Therefore, we do not discriminate against any ideology, religion, or group. We strongly promote a culture where individuals recognize that there are other believes and creeds other than their own. We ensure a culture of mutual respect, which in turn breeds co-operation and advancement.

The School Year

The school year is divided into three terms running from September to July. Holidays are usually given at Christmas and Easter. All Federal holidays are also observed by the school. Parents are given notices of these and other terminal holidays.

OUR STUDENTS GAIN ADMISSION INTO VARIOUS SCHOOLS

The students always perform excellently in common entrance examinations, gain admission and scholarships into highly competitive and good secondary schools such as:

Admission Information

We welcome children for Crèche, Pre-school and Primary classes. Admission is based on I.Q tests for Nursery and comprehensive tests and interviews for Primary classes.

Application forms and prospectuses are available from our school office. Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis.
